Bid/Contract Description:

The Government of Belize through the Ministry of Tourism and Culture (MOTC) has received
financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), toward the cost of the Belize
Sustainable Tourism Program and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments
under the Contract for Infrastructural Investments to the Cahal Pech and Xunantunich
Archaeological Sites #CCS007.
 
The Works entail: Expansion of restroom facilities and construction of a new visitor center at
Xunantunich Archaeological Site; and expansion of restroom facilities and septic/sewage
management systems, renovation of the visitor center, and upgrade of the trail at Cahal Pech
Archaeological Site.

During the bidding process for the works indicated above, under the National Competitive bidding
