Through her international working experience, Christy Mastry has had the opportunity to work with several architectural firms on projects of various scale and design style. Her early experience included working on the award-winning International Center on the San Antonio Riverwalk as well as the renovations of the historical Alemeda Theater Building. She has moved through projects of various scales ranging from private residences to larger high-rise projects. As her focus moved into the design fields of both Urban Design and Planning, Christy moved to New York where she worked on several master planning projects including Columbia University’s Manhattanville Campus, The Mount Vernon Triangle Strategic Development in Washington D.C., University of Puerto Rico Campus Planning, Historical Preservations for the United States Air Force Academy and the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center LEED Certified Building.

Christy continued to pursue her interest in urban development moving back to Belize in 2005 bringing the diversity of her experience as Designer, Urban Designer and Project Architect. She since participated in the master planning efforts for housing development, resort master planning, civic planning projects and ongoing architectural design. Her overall experience has focused both on design as well as core physical planning aspects such as planning and zoning, environmental impact analysis and code compliance. Working through all phases of the project from master planning to final construction brings about a familiarity with the practical aspects of the profession - allowing her the experience of relating design images and drawings to physical construction costs and further value engineering as both Designer and Project Manager.
